This passes with flying colors in all categories. It is a drop in replacement for the Canon battery, the charger will charge Canon or the Neewer battery. The battery fits, works and is recognized as a Canon battery. The charger comes with two options for charging, the built in USB A and an included power cord for USB C. I cannot speak to how long it will last, so far it is working great, but time will tell. The cost for two batteries is half the cost of a single Canon battery so it is a win right out of the gate.
