### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The book is made even easier to understand by the excellent accompanying photographs and leaves nothing to guesswork

Unlike many "How To" books, this one does not assume anything. It is well written and explains everything the beginner needs to know about basketry. It covers the different types of willow available and its preparation, the tools used, and of course, how to make baskets. The book is made even easier to understand by the excellent accompanying photographs and leaves nothing to guesswork. The author is obviously a very experienced basket maker and has the skill to impart this knowledge in this book. I would recommend this book as a "must" to all beginners, and as a reference work to the more experienced person. All in all, an excellent book and well worth the money.

Throw away all of your other books on basketry, this is the only one you will need. Complete beginners will quickly learn how to make beautiful baskets as the book has very clear, step by step images which are very easy to follow. As you progress through the book you are introduced to new basketry techniques, sometimes expanding on previously learned skills, and sometimes learning new ones. If you are hesitating on buying this book - don't, it is brilliant.
