I was dubious about whether it would work but I heard poison is bad for the environment so thought I'd give it a try. I used a bit of chocolate (not the good stuff, obviously) and peanut butter to bait it. The power cable was a little on the short side so we had to use an extension cable to put it where we needed it. I could have bought batteries I suppose but that would involve being organised. I think it took about a week for the desired result but we did change its location at one point. The image of that lifeless tail will definitely stay with me but as the body was still in the trap, I didn't have to look at it as I said good riddance. I didn't even vomit.Unfortunately on that fateful night, the b*stard decided its last hurrah would be to chew a hole in my dishwasher hose.
