Though some might regard this as a dubious honor, this type of music is widely used in all sorts of settings to assist with relaxation, therapy and massage sessions, among many other settings.However, you are better off with some of his other works. Yes, the music is nice: instrumentals beautifully layed out on top of natural sounds of river streams, birds singing, etc. but nothing that really engages you. Perhaps meant that way, that is, to NOT engage you in a fascinating way, but to rather stand as a fairly neutral musical background against which you can work or do other things while concentrating, but the truth is that 'Natural Concentration', after several listens, doesn't inspire me in the same way as his 'Stream of Dreams' or his Mountain Suite albums did. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Natural Concentration - a super CD *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2007* For lovers of Dan Gibson's music, Natural Concentration is another "A+" CD. Apparently the blend of the musical tones and the background nature sounds are designed to enhance concentration. I find it energizing, great music to have in the background as you work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome to work by *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2009* I work as a Data Entry operator and am allowed to listen to an iPod while keying. The work is repetitive but Natural Concentration does not put me to sleep. The best track is the one with the geese and numerous other birds and it rejuvinates me and brightens my spirits everytime I hear it. It makes me think I'm standing next to a small lake in mid-autumn and there are flocks of geese and other native birds around. I love this and highly recommend it.
