I used this book to pass my certified in cyber security CC certification.

The book is precise and explains the topics/domains well. It is a great start for someone who is just starting the Cybersecurity journey. But the exam - I passed today - had questions that are not handled in this book hence it should be used with other resources and if possible, with your experiences/skills you might have already gained in the Cybersecurity area. The questions (format/style) are similar to the real exam. Conclusion: the book expanded my knowledge and allowed me to understand how some topics in the domain are connected to each other. All together 5 stars.

I've used this book as an additional studying resource for the "ISC2 "Certified In Cybersecurity" exam. This book is well organized and filled in with contents that can provide the learner with useful information to be ready for the exam. I would recommend using this book together with the online learning course from ISC2.

This book gave me the additional information to pass the CC exam. I passed the exam an hour ago!! Loved the online practice exam questions and the ability to configure the questions based on the covered topics. Also liked that I was able to review only the incorrect answers. Great book!!

I failed the test despite scoring 90 plus on the practice questions and also the end of chapter questions too. Felt the book has failed to provide me all the knowledge neccesary.

I studied this book thoroughly, completed all the end-of-chapter tests and mock exams, and passed the certification on my first attempt. While the actual exam includes a few curveball questions, I believe that if you can consistently score well on all the practice questions in this book and the mock tests, you'll be in excellent shape.

Dieses Buch vermittelt alles was für das Bestehen der CC Prüfung relevant ist. Die einzelnen Domains werden detailliert und in ausreichender Tiefe vermittelt. Ich würde dieses Buch zusätzlich zum (ISC)2 Online-Training empfehlen. In Buchform/Kindle ist es deutlich komfortabler Themen nachzuschlagen. Zudem sind die Tipps und Diagramme sehr hilfreich. Auch wird generell mehr erklärt. Für nicht Englisch Muttersprachler ist es aus meiner Sicht auch einfacher zu lesen. Die Online-Tests spiegeln den realen gut wieder. Allerdings kam mir die Prüfung schwerer vor. Ich habe direkt das CISSP Buch/Kindle aus der gleichen Reihe erworben, um mich auch darauf vorzubereiten.

I used this manual to pass my CC exam. It well written and concise. The book has a lot of summaries. It helped me make concepts stick in my mind. If you plan to write the CC I would recommend getting this book or it's updated version. On the exam: the questions will be reworded so the test questions in the book and on the companion site will not be carbon copies of each other. Make sure you know the material.
