However, I teach music and use it 5hrs a day, and can go 2 days without it dying, as long as I turn it off when not in use. When it's low low it flashes red/blue. **Q: Neither my macbook pro nor my iphone x will recognize this microphone. can you help me?** A: For your iPhone you need the lightning to headphone jack dongle that comes with your phone AND the splitter that comes with the mic. Plug the receiver into the microphone jack of the splitter, splitter into dongle, dongle into phone. MacBook is even more complicated. Open you system presences, then go to sound, then input. It should say 'internal mic'. First, plug the splitter into the headphone jack on the computer, then plug the mic receiver into headphone jack of the splitter (not into the mic jack as the directions say) wait until your laptop recognizes the mic by showing 'external mic' instead of 'internal mic' (make sure both receiver and transmitter are on and paired) it will recognize the mic but no sound will be coming through (you can see the sound as measured bars) THEN switch the receiver to the mic jack (don't unplug the whole splitter) after that it should recognize the sound! This worked for me. Good luck. **Q: does this connect by bluetooth to my macbook for making videos through my computer?** A: Not by Bluetooth. It bring an adapter for the headphone jack that divide it for headphone and microphone. **Q: Is this a good option for fitness instructor?** A: I have found these to be reliable and great value - especially for normal audio ranges of speaking voice. It’s now 2022 and I’m buying two more because the batteries don’t last the full day anymore. I used to use one the full day and then switch to the other. But near the end of the last school year I had to start switching during the school day. I now teach elementary music and this mic set is by far d my favorite. And I bought loads of others. This is light weight, good quality, rechargeable, and mostly works well with my glasses. During Covid it was hard to also add a mask, but it still worked very well even on the outside of my mask. I just turn the mic piece away from my face when I need to have private chats with teachers or students or else just turn it off and back on if it’s a longer or more sensitive chat. With our speaker all the way up, it still wasn’t loud enough to cover a yoga studio.2nd and the real reason for the return, is there was a slight delay.
