My local gym uses these steps and I had to have one. I'm pregnant and have to keep my heart rate lower than usual so I love that the height of the step is a tad shorter than most other steps after removing the platforms. It doesn't slide around on carpet and it's very sturdy. Much more comfortable and stable than other steps I have used. They have rubber lips that connect the risers to the step itself, so they connect firmly and you can move the entire step+risers around as a unit if desired. The top is coating with a non-slip rubber, and the risers don't shift around. Additionally the risers can't be placed incorrectly, so they are much safer for cleints/members to use for the first time.
