Theses slippers weigh a ton, and when I stepped back in them, I nearly came a cropper!The major problem with them is the lack of depth on the back. They're not a mule, but they don't really qualify as a shoe either.Poor deisgn lets them down, I'm afraid. However, they warmed my feet nicely, and provided there are a pair of snug boot-type slippers to slip on when feet are warm, they do the trick! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended product *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 January 2011* The insoles are removed via a zip around the circumference of the sole and heat up in the microwave very quickly (Too hot to touch after only 40 seconds!). They do not retain heat for as long as I expected (All heat is gone after about 30-40 minutes) but are easily re-heated. The slippers themselves are comfortable and well made but quite heavy and not really suitable for walking in.
