These boots do stretch a little bit but that lug is probably a little large for this boot. **Q: will they fit 4/0 cable** A: The openings on each end are 5/8". The cable will fit through that but it may be tight with the battery cable ends and may require some trimming. **Q: Does fastronix make a boot that works with the high current 3/8" thru panel battery terminal connectors? i tried these , but they don't work.** A: I've used both those pieces. I ended up warming the covers for pliability, and stretching the boot around the terminal. They are soft, and can stretch over the input studs easily. As soft as they are, they are pretty durable in that they didn’t tear when I installed them.
