This machine was built for a sawmill in central Maine. Review: The switches have a solid feel and actuate well. The wire connections on them easily accommodate from 18 gauge to 12 gauge wire. Looks like it could handle 10 gauge as well but I didn't try. The box is well built but would be better if it was more like a heavy duty nylon. It will take a drop on concrete from 3 feet, I have already dropped it. Not sure if it would be undamaged from 6 feet though. The included wire gland will accept 14/3 and 12/3 SJOOW as it is. I am using 14/4 SOOW so I replaced the wire gland with one that has a larger cable opening. It was easy as the box opening is standard. There is a trick to it that took me a couple of days to figure out. But, I don't recall what the trick is. Be patient and you'll get. Or, by two and then you can break the 1st one and figure it out. **Q: Can this switch be used as an on/off switch?** A: For just a on/off switch NO!!! If using with a relay or contactor, yes but will have to a seal in circuit to bypass the start button **Q: How much pressure is needed to press the off button for a cutoff application please?** A: Very little pressure. The circuit for the ”stop” or β€œoff” is wired through the normally closed button (the red one). That being said, the switch only needs to travel just enough to open or β€œbreak” the internal contacts, which is generally less than half way.
