Review: Microscale Kristal Kleer is easy to use and dries, as it suggests, clear. - An excellent product, Microscale Kristal Kleer is a PVA-based substance developed to enable model makers to apply glazing to windows of models in places where sheets of clear glazing material are difficult to fit. It has the same consistency as Unibond or Resin W but dries completely clear. It is applied best using a cocktail stick, which is dipped into the bottle and by carefully building up a 'window' of Kristal Kleer in the aperture, where it remains under surface tension. Obviously it does have its limits but I've used it successfully on apertures up to about 6mm square. It is best to ensure it remains horizontal while it dries. I is opaque white when first applied and looks horrendous BUT it does dry perfectly clear. It can also be used as an adhesive to fit small glazing pieces. Much recommended.

**Q: Can paint be mixed in to change the colour when using lights**
A: Yes, definitely. I've do it regularly. OR, you may simply paint the 'light' in the colour required and THEN place a small blob of Krystal Klear over the top of the dried colour. Remember, it's opaque when applied but dries clear.

**Q: hi can this be used to glue window screens in 1/24 trucks**
A: Microscale Krystal Klear is not meant to be a glue I think.  It's used to create a glass window effect for model windows.  I have used it for model airliner cabin windows in 1/144 scale.  However it depends on the size of area to be "windowed" whether it would be effective on anything in 1/32 scale.   PVA glue is a common choice of adhesive for gluing in clear plastic windows and aircraft canopies.  Krystal Klear is very good stuff.
When applied it's a milky white colour but turns clear when it's dried.

Excellent for creating navigation lights on scale model aircraft and I use this to bond photoetch parts - allows you to position everything perfectly - better than superglue, although you need to be patient as the curing time is quite long. Also, obviously very good with clear parts and canopies - applied with a toothpick, a little goes a ling way. A must-have item for any scale modeller.
