This is an excellent value for a complete kit with everything I needed to modify a brand-new pair of boots. The calves were too large for me, so I decided to make some adjustments by cutting them, adding these eyelets, stitching them, and then lacing them up. I really like that this tool kit was easy to use. I was also able to add the right color eyelets to my pink belt for an adjustment, which was a nice bonus. The punch works great. Just make sure to use it on a hard, flat surface, and it makes a clean hole without much effort. The crimping tool is also easy to use with one hand, and there's no need to apply excessive force. The biggest thing is to make sure you have the eyelet lined up and centered before crimping. Overall, I'm really happy with this kit. It has everything I needed for my projects, it's straightforward to use, and the results turned out great. Excellent value for a complete kit!

These are fine but not spectacular. I used them for something that involved a bungee cord and an intermediate amount of tension. They eventually fall apart and have to be replaced but they're cheap and it's easy to do so worth the price.

Easy to use all in one kit. Grommets aren't heavy duty, but great for lighter things such as corsets that you'll wear once in awhile or for the hood strings in sweatshirts

really pleased with (1) pliers, (2) two-piece grommets, (3) hole punch. I never used grommets before but found it easy. Instead of using hole punch as a punch, I inserted it into electric drill and used the punch as a sort of tool to screw a hole into the fabric. That works extremely well.

This Grommet set with the Grommet tool worked perfectly for my needs. I have old grommet sets that you need a hammer to join the grommet pieces together, but having the grommet crimper tool is a game changer. So much easier to use and more precise. Yes, there is a hole cutter in the kit that you need a hammer to get it to cut through your fabric or paper, but I found a regular paper hole punch was the correct size to make the hole, so I bypassed the provided hole punch tool and hammer. The grommets are sturdy but not overly heavy. I used them for making tags using 2 pieces of cardstock and each tag came out perfectly. The silver and gold color of the grommets are nice and bright and very versatile. The directions provided are easy to understand and the grommet crimping tool seems to be made well and should last a long time.

Easy to use and instructions are very clear! Works great for my banner making people! The grip on it is great once applied to the banner. Love it!

Poking a hole through each tarp piece was not ideal, so I started using my drill, which still took time, but not as bad. Be sure to read the directions! Grommet has to face the right direction or can damage the tool. This is cheap, but effective as I need it to be.

Great!! Just need a hammer and something to hit the punch onto which I had. Very easy to use, would recommend.

The title says it’s good for fabric but the instructions inside say it’s not. I was wanting to use it for badges. I was tempted to return it. I had a duplicate badge and thought I’d try it. Using the hole-making tool that was supplied with the kit worked well, but not by hammering it as the instructions say to do. For a badge, it worked really well to rotate the tool back and forth, applying pressure as you do, until the hole is cut. It was helpful to do this on an old magazine, where it’s easy and not a problem to cut through a little too far and not damage your table or counter. This way you can make sure you’re all the way through the badge on all sides of the hole. The tool seems fairly sharp. Putting the grommet in was really easy with the supplied tool. Glad I made this purchase.
