It works great for her. She is much less agitated about this issue now that she has the clock to look at whenever she forgets what day it is. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it is so so so bright. If I drive by her room at night, I can see a blue glow coming from the window a block away. This bothers me, but she is completely fine with it. In fact, if it wasn't so bright I don't think she could see it. She also has a hard time sometimes with the day abbreviations, especially Tue for Tuesday. But I don't think that could be helped. If you are purchasing this for someone with dementia, you should be happy with it.
