It’s one of those tools that you don’t realise how useful it is until you start using it — now I keep it in the toolbox at all times. It’s a non-contact tester, which means you don’t need to touch any wires directly to check for voltage. Just bring the tip near a live socket, wire, or outlet, and it gives you a clear signal. It lights up, beeps, and makes it very obvious when voltage is present. This feature alone is a real game-changer when working safely, especially in tight or awkward spaces. The A1 model feels solid and well made. It’s lightweight and shaped like a pen, so it fits easily in a pocket or tool belt. The clip is a nice touch too, making it easy to carry around the job site or home without misplacing it.
