We each had our own large suitcase, mine was a 28” one. He used the large cube for shorts and jeans (men’s big and tall sizes) and the medium fit a stack of folded button down shirts perfectly. He also used another medium for under clothes and it fit well into his large roller duffel. I used 2 large cubes for all of my regular clothing and 1 medium cube for under clothing and swim suits. Another medium cube held all my toiletries that were in plastic bags for flying. These packing cubes are high quality, and still light weight. They were easy to use and washed up well too! I would totally recommend them!
