After a few weeks the water was very murky brown and I couldn't really see the bottom. I found the product easy to use. I followed carefully the clear instructions for calculating the volume of water in the pond and therefore how much of the product I needed to apply. The water volume calculation could only be an estimate during to the irregular shape and depth of the pond, so if anything I decided to slightly underestimate the amount of product to apply. I mixed it with warm water in a bucket and decanted the mixture into a watering can fitted with a rose, then poured the mixture evenly over the pond surface. The water cleared gradually day by day until after a week it was as clear as could be expected. Now I can see everything at the bottom of the pond, so the product has been very effective, even during extremely hot weather.
