Easier than on a normal TX to program endpoints and expo etc imo. Beginner gyro mode is really stable, but no tricks. The aerobatic mode is the sweet spot, it just wants to hover with a bit of up elevator. I haven't tried the drone mode, sounds lame tbh, I like to pull out of hover into normal flight. It handles wind surprisingly well, I flew it in large gusts before a storm today, it was predictable with the gyro and fun, even with decent wind sheer. If you wreck, just save the pieces for a template, and cut new ones from dollar tree foam board.
