While it's not a high end warm sounding mic, it has a decent sound quality to it. And it's good enough for pod casts or creating online courses, etc. The cool thing about it is for the low cost you get enough volume from a distance to keep the voice level hot enough when recording. In that, you should not have to raise the noise floor just to squeeze-in enough vocal into your productions. So many videos suffer from low audio on VOs that this mic helps bridge that gap in an affordable price range.
