I purchased 4, 2 were same inside. This is the ONLY one that works, all others fail to output pcm 96khz or dts. I know this for a fact now and reused ports and optical connectors to be sure. Silver one is hd coax and fiber and does beautiful pcm with volume control.... I am going to buy two ..I just wish it powered on with power. You have to go hold the button which is kinda dumb when stereo powers it on, plus phone actually auto connects...just one step missing. Still a great value. Also it streams from my phone through a concrete wall which is unexpected and not typical. Fyi if you have a moto phone that's great on battery life you might have to change settings so mp3 streaming service or whatever doesn't breakup a little when phone screen is off and it's doing power save stuff. That's purely on the phone. Thank you for a great piece of hardware.
