## Description

Go back to the era of dinosaurs with the Papo Mosasaurus figurine. This marine reptile from the Upper Cretaceous period will delight children and adults with its realism and high level of detail. Papo figurines are hand-painted and designed to offer children a great medium for play and imagination. Nothing is left to chance: the postures are correct, the morphology is respected and the main characteristics of the animal are faithfully reproduced. The Mosasaurus resembling the crocodile had heavy and oval jaws. Its slender jaws did not allow it to swallow its prey in one go, but thanks to its sharp teeth, it could easily cut them up. It could reach 15 metres in length. However, it was more robust and heavy than its cousin the Tylosaurus, so a 10-metre Mosasaurus could be as heavy as a 15-metre Tylosaurus. Also to be discovered in the Papo Dinosaurs collection: the T-rex, the Triceratops, the Spinosaurus and many other figurines... The Dinosaur Land is also to be found in the same collection and is the ideal play environment for Papo dinosaurs.

Review: Die Mosasaurier waren bis zu 18m lange Meeresechsen (also keine Dinos), die sich perfekt an die Meere der damaligen Zeit angepasst hatten. Zudem existierten sie unglaubliche 17 Mio. Jahre (vor 83-66 Mio. Jahren) in der Oberkreide. Der Papo Mosasaurus ist super gelungen. Unglaublich detailliert gestaltet. Eine sehr natürliche Schwimmbewegung und auch eine sehr dezente grau/grün Bemalung. Das Maul lässt sich sehr schön öffnen und die Zähne und der Rachen sind ebenfalls sehr detailliert ausgearbeitet. Die Augen sind mir etwas zu gelb geraten, da hätte es etwas dezenter sein können. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Zusammen mit dem Schleich Mosasaurus geben sie ein wunderschönes Paar ab.😉
