Designed for long-lasting use, this refill ensures vibrant, document-proof lines that keep your writing sharp and professional. Made in Germany, it combines trusted craftsmanship with a large ink capacity to keep you writing longer without compromise. ## Description Product Description Faber-Castell's smooth writing refill is long lasting and uses high quality ink. Suitable for ballpoint pens. Box Contains 1 x refill Review: Probably the best ballpoint refill available - I've tried lots of different biro refills, but Faber-Castell is the best by far. The refill fits any Faber-Castell or Parker ballpoint. Made in Germany, it writes incredibly smoothly, lasts seemingly forever and doesn't skip. This specific refill is a Broad Blue. Faber-Castell is virtually the only option if you prefer a Broad refill. It's not overly broad, so will suit most people. Review: Quality is excellent. Price is high though - Like all German made Faber Castell refills, this oozes quality and writes very smoothly. The ink flow is excellent. Two criticisms though. The price is rather steep (though the quality is a lot better than Lamy refills) so I suggest you seek out the excellent Schmidt refills which should fit the FC Basic range. Also the broad refill I purchased isn't that broad. Otherwise a quality product. ## Features - document-proof standard large capacity refill - light-resistant - line width b - Ink color: Blue ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0012S7SPO | | Best Sellers Rank | 255,073 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 2,184 in Pen Refills | | Brand | Faber-Castell | | Brand Name | Faber-Castell | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 256 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04005401487432 | | Ink Colour | Blue | | Item Dimensions | 10 x 0.6 x 0.6 centimetres | | Item Weight | 0.01 Kilograms | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 10 x 0.6 x 0.6 centimetres | | Item weight | 0.01 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Faber-Castell | | Manufacturer Part Number | F148743 | | Model Number | F148743 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Number of pieces | 1 | | Package Size Name | Single | | Point Type | Broad | | Point type | Broad | | Style | Ballpoint | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Faber-Castell - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 10 x 0.6 x 0.6 centimetres - **Item weight:** 0.01 Kilograms - **Number of pieces:** 1 - **Style:** Ballpoint ## Images ![Faber-Castell Broad Ballpoint Refill - Blue - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Fi8LX0H-L.jpg) ![Faber-Castell Broad Ballpoint Refill - Blue - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51yQ+BwiMtL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: i want to buy ondoro ballpoint pen. can this pen take broad refill? which one? also how big length wise is the ondoro?** A: Yes it takes a broad and the item # is 148742 for black and 148743 for blue. The length of the pen is 5.3 inches. **Q: will this fit the ambition?** A: Yes, it fits in all Faber-Castell ballpoint pens. **Q: Do you have fine point, blue ink refills for the Faber- castell teal ink pen? It came with medium point and I prefer the fine point instead.** A: Dear Ms. Maine,I have several Faber-Castell ballpoint pens. I believe that Faber-Castell offered fine point blue ink refills the last time I reviewed them, but when I went through all the current Amazon refills, I did not see one. If I had to guess, I would say that most manufacturers offer a medium point refill as standard in the color listed in their specifications and do not usually offer exchanges. If it is of any comfort, I believe the Faber-Castell refills are one of the best on the market. They are long lived and the ink color is vivid. I think I saw a fine point black refill offered, but would surmise that you would have to order it and pay for it in addition to the pen. I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance. The description was not accurate enough to explain for which Faber Castell roller balls this thing is compatible. Lucky enough the Amazon team is great and refunded me. ## Frequently Bought Together - Faber-Castell Broad Ballpoint Refill - Blue - Faber-Castell XB Ballpoint Pen Refill - Black - Faber-Castell Ballpoint pen Grip Plus Ball M stone grey --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/52304598-faber-castell-broad-ballpoint-refill-blue](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/52304598-faber-castell-broad-ballpoint-refill-blue) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
