This is my second LOCKLY. Works well and saves my family members from problems losing keys. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid lock system *by E***Z on April 5, 2024* Installed this as a drop-in replacement for another keypad lock. I've done many lock installs, but still took a good couple of hours to get done. I highly recommend using the through-the-door stud bolt to secure the unit as it seems to me that it could be pried off/broken if just held on by the double-faced tape. Thankfully, with careful measuring I got the hole for the stud bolt right on the first try. In the plus column, the electronic security features are excellent with the ability to unlock by the self-scrambling keypad, a fingerprint, your phone or a key. The fingerprint seems to work first-time every time for me, but not so much for my wife. You may want to register several versions of your preferred finger for better results. Also, be aware that on doors with the lock on the left, there is not a lot of space to fit your finger between the reader and the door jamb. Finally, on the plus side is a key cylinder that is better-than-average for pick and bump resistance. In the minus column, the supplied strike plate is small and thin and supplied with only 2 1-inch screws and a plastic "dust box". Thankfully I was able to use the heavier and better secured plate from the old lock. I recommend buying a heavy duty strike plate separately if you use this lock (Lockly could also fix this without adding too much cost). The bolt itself is also a little lighter weight that I'd have expected. I had wanted to use the old bolt also, but couldn't quite get the tailpiece matched so the bolt would operate smoothly. Overall, I like the lock.
