For the price, it is a good value. The color does not fade and the seams are stitched decently. However, It is incredibly thin and therefore challenging to shake a comforter inside of it when first setting up. It is also found to not be practical for beds used daily because it "pills" easily. So laying on top of it or sheets rubbing under it cause it to pill, thus reducing its softness and smoothness even more than its original state. (Take my word, sliding feet with rough skin will absolutely send chills up the spine and be your last time doing so.) Washing it is therefore highly likely to add to this problem.
