Will this work with octoprint or does it require raspberry pi OS?

Hi, Just to let you know that the lens can't remove.

Which kernel/packages are required for this camera? i'm on linux 5.10.103 (march 8, 2022) on a pi 4 (4 gb), and vcgencmd says supported=1, detected=0.

Can the focusing motor be programmatically controlled via I2C or otherwise? Or is this just an auto-focus that cannot be controlled?

The focus can be manually controlled and, as I recall, the driver package contains some scripts and examples to demonstrate the control API. Since no extra cables are needed, I assume it's just using the CSI cable's standard control channel (I2C I believe)

Klasse für den Raspberry Pi

Für den Raspberry Pi ist die Kamera perfekt. Die Einrichtung ist recht simpel und elektronisches Fachwissen ist auch nicht notwendig. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass die Kamera nicht mit einer Jetson betrieben werden kann. Das ist aber auch so beschrieben. Geht also klar.
