Now they have so many different sets (one of the sets I have matches Maderia color sets; the 120 spool set) they all have an S in front of the numbers...however some of the numbers are the same, minus the "S" in my 63 color set, but are a totally different color. Short answer, it is only their color number (since they have multiple colors with same number). I hope this makes sense. **Q: Can I use this for bobbin thread?** A: Yes. I do and it works just fine.
