I had an incident occur in which coffee managed to leak into my M1 Macbook Air resulted in needing to replace the audio pcb and display. I have the silver MB Air M1 A2337 and chose this screen to have a two tone aesthetic which worked out very nicely. The screen is overall as good as it gets. There is only one notable difference and that is the backlight is not as bright as the original. With that said, having replaced several screens over the years I have yet to find one that does match the OEM backlight brightness. I would say 85-90% near a match. Simple enough to install. No great technical knowledge required. If you have the patience and focus to build a lego set, you can accomplish this install. The actual part is working great and i notice no difference in quality. $500+ for apple to do it. $180ish and 45 min for me to do it. I am in the wrong line of work
