Adjustable Backrest The backrest on the HG7000 is adjustable to three horizontal positions to ensure the user the optimum position. The upholstery on the bench is 2.5” inch thick box stitched padded upholstery for support and comfort. Chest Press The chest press on the HG7000 is fitted with free motion pec dec arms allowing the chest press handles to double-up as free motion, bio-mechanically friendly pec dec arms for flyes. The handles on the pec dec are designed for multi-grip use for wide and neutral grip chest press. Review: Good, solid workout kit. - This is a great kit for the money. It is much more solid than cheaper models, and well worth the extra money, especially since it includes a leg-press. It is easy to flip between activities and is very cleverly designed to mimic free-weights. It was very difficult to put together, however, so be prepared for a bit of a battle if you get it unassembled. Also, the weights stack would possibly be too light for any serious gym-goer, but for me and my family it is great.

A: I would say the leg press could be an issue being tall for resistance it’s a 70kg machine so could be outgrown but ok for starting off

**Q: is there anyway to add extra weights to the stack**
A: You maybe able to add extra weights by changing over the weight pin rod thru the centre of the stack to a longer length of rod to enable capturing all the weights in the stack? Though I would suggest contacting the manufacture for guidance as adding more weight at one end may cause the opposite end to be unstable and topple over unless of course it’s fully secured/fastened into the floor surface? This is a great kit for the money. It is much more solid than cheaper models, and well worth the extra money, especially since it includes a leg-press. It is easy to flip between activities and is very cleverly designed to mimic free-weights. It was very difficult to put together, however, so be prepared for a bit of a battle if you get it unassembled. Also, the weights stack would possibly be too light for any serious gym-goer, but for me and my family it is great.

Slight hick-up with delivery schedule, though a quick call to Pure-Tec sorted the issue and arranged shipping for next day delivery. The product arrived in four boxes on a crate which fortunately enough for me the delivery driver off loaded onto the driveway without the need for excessive double handling. The build Instructions are straight forward and quite easy to understand. There are many components to this piece of kit so I suggest taking the time to carry out the inventory to ensure all pieces are complete before building. Took around 4hrs to assemble maybe quicker with a helping hand also ensure there is plenty clear space area to build. Undertook a demo of each excercise and rechecked the bolts for tightness. All in all a great peace of kit to start back into training. I opted for this Model for the position and benefit of the leg press and it works really well. No real downsides as yet. The only gripe would be not having a wall chart to refer to of all the possible excercise that can be done rather than using the laptop/iPad.
