Marcy Eclipse HG7000 Home Gym with Leg Press

This is a great kit for the money. It is much more solid than cheaper models, and well worth the extra money, especially since it includes a leg-press. It is easy to flip between activities and is very cleverly designed to mimic free-weights. It was very difficult to put together, however, so be prepared for a bit of a battle if you get it unassembled. Also, the weights stack would possibly be too light for any serious gym-goer, but for me and my family it is great.

It has taken far longer to leave this review than it should have done so apologies, but….. this is a super, hardwiring and professional piece of equipment. The cable machine means that there are myriad exercises that I can incorporate into my developing routine. I am not an experienced trainer but this is so user friendly that it has developed my confidence in exploring a whole world of strength training! The company were also so incredibly helpful in terms of feedback and delivery. You will need two people to assemble and it does take a few hours but I promise it is worth it. The complexity of assembly reflects the adaptability of the machine. I am so glad I purchased this!!

Slight hick-up with delivery schedule, though a quick call to Pure-Tec sorted the issue and arranged shipping for next day delivery. The product arrived in four boxes on a crate which fortunately enough for me the delivery driver off loaded onto the driveway without the need for excessive double handling. The build Instructions are straight forward and quite easy to understand. There are many components to this piece of kit so I suggest taking the time to carry out the inventory to ensure all pieces are complete before building. Took around 4hrs to assemble maybe quicker with a helping hand also ensure there is plenty clear space area to build. Undertook a demo of each excercise and rechecked the bolts for tightness. All in all a great peace of kit to start back into training. I opted for this Model for the position and benefit of the leg press and it works really well. No real downsides as yet. The only gripe would be not having a wall chart to refer to of all the possible excercise that can be done rather than using the laptop/iPad.

It took me about 3 hours to set it all up and im quite mechanically inclined. Back was sore after that. I am 6ft2 (188cm) and more long torso than long legs but even with the foot rests maxed out it is hard to get a good position for the leg press. The leg extensions are also designed for someone with smaller legs. From seeing other people on it, the leg aspect of this machine is designed for someone who is 5ft9 and under. Maybe can get away with it if you are 5ft10 or 11 and have shorter leg to torso ratio. The rest of the gym is great as it isnt limited in such a way. I am thinking about designing a bracket so I can use the leg press and leg extension.

I have had this for 3 months now and these are my comments The supplier has been brilliant. I asked for a copy of the assembly instructions beforehand so I could get a head start and they duly obliged. I also had an issue with one of exercises and again they helped me to resolve this issue. The gym is solid and the mechanics are smooth Here are my ratings out of 5 for the exercised per body part Legs: 5 – The leg press has really worked well for me and the leg extension is the most comfortable and does not cause soreness in my knees. It’s really safe to push yourself. Back: 5 – Pull down and Row are great. The lat bar is a good size not too wide like others I have used. Shoulders: 2 – It doesn’t have a shoulder push and the weight increments are far too high for the lateral raise. I am back to using free weights to supplement the upright shoulder row. Biceps: 4 – Only use the preacher pad but it’s getting results. The weight increments are large Triceps : 4 – Abs: 4 – The lat bar fits nicely behind you neck and is easy to hold in place whilst doing abs cable crunch. The cable length for the wood chops are a little short for me, but is still as useful exercise. Chest: 4 – The exercises are very good but not quite as good a free weights. The free motion is exactly that. The faults with the product (and hence not a 5 rating) are No exercise guide – you pretty much need to know what you are doing, but should watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC7Ohj0Yszc For some exercises the weight increments are too high. You can end up doing to many reps or too few on the lower weight range. Replacing one of the full weight with another half weight may sort this out. I may request a spare to try it out. That said I have absolutely no regrets in buying this.

The worst company on amazon iv drlt with this multigym is not suitable for beginners as the low weight has resistance pull back, the leg press is back to front as you have to push from your waist and not your leg, I tried to work with the company for over 3 months to fix the problems, then when some of the were not fixed, I tried to return the product and was told I'd passed my 3 months return time, two of the managers also made up stuff and backed each other up, avoid at all costs

Die Kraftstation ist mittelmäßig gebaut und wir brauchten über 6 Stunde die Kraftstation zusammen zu bauen weil die Bedienung nur in Englisch und sehr unverständlich ist. Die Zugseilen sind sehr schwach und schon nach 5 Minuten eine war beschädigt und aus den Fügen gesprungen Die Schweißnähte sind nun gepunktet und nicht richtig geschweist was die Qualität erheblich mindert. Die Sterne nur für die schnelle Lieferung sonst werde diese Gerät nicht empfehlen und das Geld nicht wert .

La macchina funziona perfettamente si possono fare vari esercizi la consiglio veramente l unica pecca e stato il trasporto l autista non lo ha cosegnato a casa ma si e fermato a 500 metri dovendo fare il trasporto a mano

Tras varios meses de uso, puedo hacer una reseña completa para orientar a otros posibles compradores: -en cuanto a la maquina en si: obviamente está destinada a un uso doméstico. Si calidad es bastante normal, y si sistema de poleas y materiales no aguantaría un uso intenso ni de muchas personas. En mi casa la uso yo solo, y he tenido que ajustarla varias veces. Permite hacer muchos ejercicios con las poleas superiores e inferiores, si bien las prendas y las aberturas no tienen estabilidad suficiente al estar en el mismo mecanismo. Se debe controlar mucho el movimiento para que x ejemplo, al hacer press militar no se mueve el mecanismo en abducción y a la inversa. Lo mismo pasa con la prensa de piernas. Es mucho en muy poco, y nada demasiado bien... Pero para un uso doméstico como he dicho, sirve bien. -en cuanto al montaje.... Se puede hacer siendo un poco mañoso... Si bien no es sencillo ni intuitivo. Yo tarde 4 días....dedicándole un par de horas al días hasta que mi paciencia decía basta. Pero absténganse quien no sepa montar muebles de Ikea xq esto es ingeniería fina... -y lo más importante que quiero dejar claro, pero que no tomen el pelo a otros como a mí. EL ENVIO. Compras la maquina a través de Amazon, sin que te den ninguna opción de envío más q la q aparece por defecto.... Y luego te llama la empresa de reparto avisándote de q la entrega es a pie de calle. Y no en la puerta de tu portal si vives en unas galerías como yo, sino en la bendita carretera donde la furgoneta pueda parar en doble fila. Te plantan en la acera 70 kg en paquetes (bastante destrozados del transporte, x cierto), y adiós muy buenas. Me tocó hablar con la empresa y pagar otros 70 euros para q me subieran los paquetes a casa..... Muy mal que esto no lo aclaren desde el principio... Xq si compras un pedido de este peso y tamaño es obviamente para q te lo suban a tu casa!!!

Sembra promettere bene ma non serve assolutamente a nulla, occupa spazio e non allena i muscoli giusti. Aimè sta a prendere la polvere in casa.

Después de varios meses de uso puedo decir que estoy bastante satisfecho. Es una máquina doméstica, si estás acostumbrado a máquinas de gym al principio te vas a ver muy raro haciendo los ejercicios o directamente no te va a gustar. Dale tiempo.
