The ones I bought so long ago are as good today as they were when they were brand new. The hinges latch onto a plastic piece and lock. They will not ever come open accidentally. They are so easy to close and open. You will not find a better product for food storage anywhere. The only thing is some of them have a white sticker on the bottom that was a little hard to get off. They are well worth the price.

I started using these in Dubai about 9 years ago. At that time I had never seen them in the US. The ones I bought so long ago are as good today as they were when they were brand new. The hinges latch onto a plastic piece and lock. They will not ever come open accidentally. They are so easy to close and open. You will not find a better product for food storage anywhere. The only thing is some of them have a white sticker on the bottom that was a little hard to get off. They are well worth the price.
