This would be the case at the pressure at this depth such that the polystyrene is compressed to a much higher density. So I used this with clamps set for around 3 days and it worked perfect. Regarding stainless Steel to stainless Steel you can get it welded by a good blacksmith and the welds sanded down. It's forms a much stronger bond than any of the other JB Weld products, at the cost of time. The Kqik Weld epoxies are decent, but I always find they pull clean off a surface given time or a sudden impact, even after roughing up the surface. This one on the other hand refuses to come off, works great for metal, plastic and wood, the only issue is it takes multiple hours to firm (6+) up and really does take a full 24 hours to fully cure.
