Don't buy it if you have to use regular staples. Every negative review you see on this stapler is from people who used regular staples. The bottom of the stapler, in very fine print says the following: "Use Optima or S.F.3 staples." If you do this, IMHO, is the best stapler made. **Q: Are staples included with this product?** A: Came with NO staples. Disappointing.. **Q: Does this stapler open to 180 degrees to use on bulletin boards?** A: It does not open to 180 degrees, its a regular desk stapler. **Q: Will this be okay to use for small volume like 2 pages as well, or only for high volume stapling? Thanks.** A: Works great for small volume (2 pages). I use this stapler for work, so I use it a lot, and it hasn't given me any problems at all so far. ## Frequently Bought Together - Swingline Stapler, 40 Sheet Capacity, Optima 40, Jam Free, Reduced Effort, Compact, Soft Grip, Metal, Orange, Silver and Black (87842) - Swingline Staples, Premium for Desktop Staplers, 1/4" Length, 210/Strip, 3750/Box, Jam Free, Optima (35556) - Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser, Black, 2.7 in. x 2.7 in. x 6.4 in., 1 Tape Dispenser --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/51912537-stapler-optima-40-compact-low-force-40-sheets-black-silver](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/51912537-stapler-optima-40-compact-low-force-40-sheets-black-silver) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
