I have other gold ink pads and they work fine on black paper. **Q: Will this ink wash off if I put it on a matte plastic lid?** A: This is a water based pigment ink designed for use on porous surfaces. I stamped it on a matte plastic lid and dried it. I did not even need to use water for it to come right off with a tissue. Staz On has recently come out with a gold metallic ink.
