They are very sturdy bars, and easy to hold onto. The weight capacity would probably depend more on what fasteners you use to connect them to your frame. There are four holes on each end of the bar, so plenty of anchor points. The older boys use the bars for cross-fit training, and lache from bar to bar while skipping multiple bars in-between with no sign of movement in the bar. These bars are very durable and well-made. The only downside is the hardware and packaging; the screw heads strip easily. Some of the paint was chipped off in places. Instead of being wrapped in plastic, the bars should be wrapped in foam.
