Review: Unique And Delicious - I bought this because I wanted to experience something akin to the mushroom-based precursor to what we currently call ketchup/catsup. It's very different (which I expected). The bottles aren't very big, but the flavor is strong enough that you don't need a lot. The consistency is watery and the taste is like a cross between A1 steak sauce and Lee & Perrins Worchestershire sauce. It's very salty and savory--not sweet at all. Due to the watery consistency and lack of a pour spout, it can be a it of a hassle for dipping, but the flavor is incredible. It pairs well with steak, and probably most any savory dish. It's a bit on the pricey side, but not outrageously so.

A: I’m not sure of the ingredients. From what i tasted it has a lot of vinegar. Not all that great.

A: Last item on the ingredients is "spices", so if you have an allergy or sensitivity to cloves, I'd say don't consume it!

I got this years ago, and I still use it regularly as an acid replacement in recipes where they normally call for wine or vinegar. It's excellently crafted and very tasty.
