Great replacement for a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L. The new pan came with two oil filter fittings, but neither fit the original filter thread. Changed to a Super Tech 10060 (2016 model year for the same vehicle) for the initial startup oil run.

It worked for my 2006 Silverado with a 5.3 you just have to swap over the oil filter threads if you wanna continue to run the factory style oil filter.

Everything fit perfectly on my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3l V8. Besides the oil filter fittings that came with. I just installed old fitting from old oil pan. Good quality. Fast shipping well packaged. Would recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The oil pan it’s self is good quality and fit on my motor without an issue. The only problem I ran into is the oil filter fitting. The fitting on it will not fit any standard oil filter for these trucks. My truck is a 2002 Chevy Silverado. I tried oil filters from all gm vehicles from a 2010 Silverado to a 2004 corvette, non of those oil filters for those cars fit on this oil pan. The seller does not have any information regarding what filter it uses. If you have your old oil pan, you can take off the fitting and put it on this new one without any issue. If you're like me who already got rid of the old oil pan, the fitting will fit a Mobil 1 M1-209A or a Wix 51516. These oil filters are for Fords,Chryslers, and Mazdas. The filters will work without any issues or leaks.

Perfect fit highly recommend this and it’s very light and machined well, you will need to remove the threaded nipple for the oil filter off your old pan and swap out with the one that comes with this pan. Very easy to remove with a large Allen socket. Stock oil filter won’t thread on the pan until you switch them .

The oil filter screw installed did not fit the recommended filter for my 2005 Chevy Express 2500 4.8L Vortec V8. There was no info about the type of filter the installed screw was for. Luckily they did not use a thread locker on the screw and it didn't need much torque to remove. You will need a 12mm hex bit to remove the screw from the new pan and a 13mm hex bit to remove the old oil filter screw from the old pan. Besides that, it was a perfect fit and no other issues with the installation.

Looked amazing until I saw cracks at the bottom of the oil pan. I've contacted LabWork and hopefully I can get a replacement without any cracks. Will update whether I get a replacement or will have to buy a different pan somewhere else.
