My sprinkler works fine without this but much slower when run through this** A: Yes, the water pressure is reduced to something less that a 1/4 the original pressure. My wave sprinkler hardly runs with only 12" of water coming out but without the timer valve it shoots up to 6 ft high. I think this a bad design. **Q: Can this schedual multiple waterings in one day, 7 days a week? Would like it to water 3 times a day every day for 5 minutes.** A: You can select up to 4 Start Times for watering in a given day, The number of minutes to water in each start time can be set for 1 to 240. The ECO is only for up to 19 minutes of on/off watering during a given watering period. It might be useful to keep water from running down a hill. I am using the timer to start grass seed in a lawn by watering 3 times a day every day for 5 minutes. **Q: Timer is ok. The first time it is operating well in eco mod, but next cycles is not opening a valve even tough I see the drops on screen. Pressure?** A: I have had a lot of trouble setting the timer to work the cycles I want. Instructions are not clear or complete enough. **Q: How do i program a but keep b manual? i want a port to turn on based on the schedule, but use b port for manual watering.** A: I have port A and B both setup for Auto but you can setup A for Manual and B for Auto. On the one you don't want to Auto water, you set the "Timer" to 0 minutes. Make sure you select auto at the bottom of the screen then go up to the Port A or B at top of the screen using the arrow keypad. In my case, I want A to go off on Saturday at 8am so it's set as A port, 45 minutes. I go to port B and make sure the timer says 0 minutes. Once you have the port you want to be automated, you are done and can go back down to the manual function and hit OK button when that's highlighted to bring that set up. You can then arrow key up to A and B port for the manual set. You can choose whichever port you have a hose on that you want to use manually and change the minutes to however minutes you want to use it. If you want to use B for auto then make sure B has 0 minutes under manual. Make sure A has however minutes you usually use for manual watering. Then once you set the minutes go back down to manual function and hit ok to turn the water on. After you are done with manual watering, just change the function at the bottom back to Auto and hit ok and your auto port will go off at scheduled time. Hope this helps. At the close to 2yr mark, this is still running fine, but is starting to show signs of wear (fading, buttons are less responsive (but still functional)) Fingers crossed it still has a few years of life in it.
