I bought this set as a total beginner to test the quality of the Chinese padlock on my garage. It took dozens of attempts to crack it, but when I did it was like losing my cherry all over again. In the last 2 months I've beaten 3 locks but I still can't do it like the guys on YouTube (check Bosnian Bill) So yeah, go for it, you get a lot of stuff to play with for a little outlay. And I can see why – they really are surprisingly good.However, they are only good if you spend the time to smooth and polish them. As delivered, they are a little rough and edges a little sharp due to the manufacturing process. Locks don't like rough or sharp objects. There are plenty of videos demonstrating how to polish your picks, and it's definitely worth your while watching a few before you attempt to use these on a lock. On the subject of locks, these do work with most UK/EU locks.A star is lost for the following reasons:β€’ The case is not great.
