Great value
Item was delivered within the specified time, was packaged well. The item was as described and is great value for money. Solid block with medium easily removes sap from my axe ๐๐ป which is why I purchased it. So 5 stars from me

Does exactly what it's supposed to.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well. I use the medium (180 grit) and fine (240 grit) to keep my workshop tools looking like new. Abrasive enough to cut through light corrosion and etc but not too aggressive to leave heavy scoring which you'd expect from the same grit of Emery/ sandpaper. It wears away like a pencil rubber / eraser and at about the same rate. It can be kept straight and flat though quite easily. It's excellent for curves and profiles too as it's a bit softer than a pencil rubber. Does a good job. Recommended.

Best thing I've found for cleaning a cast-iron woodworking machine
I found a recommendation for this product that's probably well-known to metalworkers, but not to me, an amateur woodworker. I use my cast-iron topped sawbench as a general-purpose work surface so it gets covered in paint drops and rusty patches from glue seepage. Rubbing down with wet and dry abrasive paper was hard work, left scratches and was not very effective. This little abrasive block worked really well. It does need a fair bit of elbow grease but the results are well worth it. Just be prepared to take your time!

Loy blocks
My dad has been ranting about 'loy blocks' for years, after a little digging it turns out that these are the very things!! I bought him a couple as part of his birthday present and he was absolutely made-up; didn't bother about the other (harder to source) stuff! He assures me that they're crucial on every mans' tool kit from rubbing down cylinder heads to furniture/decorative maintenance; good job I bought 2 of everything and kept one of each for my own.

Abrasive perfection,, 5 stars,,
Bought this, (on recommendation) to remove minor scratches, from my brushed stainless steel watch clasp. This product (imho) is absolutely fantastic.!! I could go on for ages, about how effective they are, but it'll be easier if you just buy one, !! 100% highly recommended..

It Works!
Just what I needed for my disc/band sander - it works brilliantly - Don't use too much pressure or you'll waste it

Good abrasive block.
Purchased this to buff up my secateurs etc after sharpening them. I will probably purchase a more coarse one next time, as I found that this medium one did not buff up the secateurs enough though. Still useful though.

Recommended to us.
This was recommended by our stair-lift engineer. He has used one for years, and its the same one. Very good for taking little burrs of metal, we used it like a sanding block. Very good value for the money too.
