These are spectacular! Buttery goodness.

Normally I don't purchase store cookies. I often find they have too many ingredients that you can't pronounce and some of those ingredients upset my stomach. I purchased these to taste test in order to determine if I wanted to give them as gifts this Christmas. I like the fact that they contain minimal ingredients. When I tasted one, I was really surprised at how good they were. Just enough lemon flavor without being overwhelming, a nice crunch without being to hard and the cookie breaking up into pieces and going everywhere. I also appreciate the owners using a #1 plastic in the chasing triangle container that holds the cookies--that allows for both the box the cookies come in and that little plastic holder to both be recycled. Most businesses use a higher numbered plastic because it's cheaper and I appreciate that this business used a recyclable plastic, which of course means a higher production cost to them. Yes, the cookies are a bit expensive, but the ingredients are simple, the packaging is recyclable, it is a small business you're supporting and it is based in California, where nothing is inexpensive for both producers and consumers. I will totally buy these again for myself and as gifts!

I’ve purchased these cookies in the individual packages and they have been very good indeed: great lemony taste, nice shortbread buttery texture. These taste stale and have no lemon flavor. I think they must be seconds, so the company decided to pack them in larger amounts with the idea of selling them to customers so the customers could “save money”. Except that it’s no savings if they don’t taste good! Very disappointing! FYI: I add a bit of lemon juice and let it soak in to make them more palatable. Otherwise they’re not worth the calories!

If it didn’t say Lemon on the box I’d think cookies are plain. Others say very lemon, is why I purchased. Disappointed on non Lemon flavor

These are delicious cookies! They arrived fresh and very few were broken. I took off one star because I think the price is just really expensive. This box has four sleeves in it, but each sleeve only has 10 cookies. They don’t have a strong lemon punch, but are more a slightly lemony shortbread.

Bought for my husband. He didn’t like these very much
