And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.", while in the NIV Bible, these verses have been reduced to " For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." Yikes. Stick with NKJV and KJV Bibles if you want the whole Truth from God. A great book for more info and scriptures changed is "NEW AGE BIBLE VERSIONS" by Gail Riplinger. Review: Wonderful Large-Print Edition - I am very happy with this edition of the New Testament/Psalms. I was looking for a King James edition that was light in weight in order to carry in my back-pack to and from work every day and one that had large enough print where I wouldn't have to strain my aging eyes. This particular edition from the National Publishing Company (Philadelphia) fits my criteria perfectly. The print isn't regular sized (as suggested by another reviewer) but it isn't huge, either. It's large enough I can read it. Also,the cover design is elegant, and simple at the same time. It has large, clear print, the soft flexible cover is attractive and does not look tacky. Got this for someone who needed to be able to read even if they hadn't got their spectacles on. Quite lightweight and comfortable to hold, it has the added value of the Psalms and a presentation page at the front if you wish to use this as a gift.
