I like that you have two layers to see your items clearly; a tray overlays a larger compartment below. It fits quite a lot of stuff - I have two large scissors, rotary cutter, smaller scissors, threads, several small boxes, tape measure, needle case and few other bits.The colour is a lovely bright red, and the 'Make do and Mend' is embroidered into the top face of the lid. I didn't want a floral box and polka dots are so me!!! It arrived today and I am thrilled with it! It is very stylish and just SO pretty, even more so in real life. The real buttons sewn onto the lid, along with the embroidered needle and lettering, are the finishing touches. It is very spacious, currently holding: 2 pairs of scissors, a rotary cutter and spare blade, 6 reels of cotton, a notebook and pen, 2 pin cushions, a box of pins, a tape measure and 3 zips. And to top it all, it's red!!
