Review: Perfect gift idea - I bought this to record our family tree for my Dad for Christmas. He is not tech savvy so he can't use websites to see our family tree so this was perfect for my to write down some of our tree for him. I chose the rolled version and it came very well packaged, rolled up and placed inside a plastic pocket, then posted in a solid carboard tube. The tube has a cap so I was able to store it in there and take it out as many times as I needed while I worked on it up until Christmas. I went on the purchase the family tree tube before gifting and it was all worth every penny. Overall very happy and I will purchase another one next year to do my Mums side for her Christmas gift.

**Q: Is the paper glossy? Did you need to use special pen that didn't smudge?**
A: Hi, Any pen will be OK or a pencil to begin with. However, it is important to use a pen with good quality ink/pigment that doesn't fade over time. Avoid cheap ball point pens.

**Q: Is there any available information on how to use. What is the best pen to use. how to use and record your family tree. It looks complicated.**
A: Pencil is good idea to start with. Use a good quality ink pen when you are confident you have the people in the right place. Low cost pens tend to fade quickly.

**Q: If I order 4 charts rolled. Do they come in separate tubes.?**
A: I only ordered 1 ,but if you contact the company who are really good they might be able to help you .

**Q: Hi, I am currently on my 3rd marriage and have one child from each of the first 2. Does this accommodate modern families?**
A: Hi, these are ancestor charts so they are made to record ancestors of a single person. If you start with yourself for instance then the next generation is your two parents and the third generation will be your 4 grandparents etc. To record descendants of people then you will need to look at our 'Working chart' as these allow you to any number of children to many families creating either a descendant charts or you could go up and down adding cousins, aunts and uncles etc.
