Rust-Oleum 400ml Stone Spray Paint Aerosol - Bleached Stone

So easy to use, shake well for 2 mins, hold 30 cm back and spray is big long lines end to end. I had a oak looking fireplace and wanted to update it abit. I looks and feels like stone. So many compliments on it. I used 3 cans so complete this fireplace allowing each coat half hour to dry, Did final can the following day when i could assess any patches. Covered middle with newspaper and floor, painted it in a base colour as this spray is mainly for texture not colour. I used a single pound tester pot from wilko called oatmeal and it's really lovely if u have neutral decor. Tips : Lightly sand area and wipe first. Spray outside. Cover anything nearby as it does travel some. Spray from a distance or itl clump and look flase, better to do multiple light coats and fully dry inbetween than a few thick coats. Itl pay off with patience. Ive posted b4, during and after for your reference.

Super poor product. Bought once and the spray nozzle didn’t work at all. Bought again and worked but coverage was awful and clumpy and much less quantity in the can than advertised. Really dissapointed and money wasted.

I hate my fireplace, but want to knock through and put a log burner in next year so I didn’t want to spend too much money so I found this product. I am really happy with the result it isn’t what I would choose but looks 110% better than it did before

I’ve used this product before and it’s great. I bought again (not this seller) but after using it once and spraying for 3 seconds there was a blockage. Contact seller and was very unhelpful. I’ve managed to use but only in 5/6 second sprays at a time. I had to remove nozzle, blow on it, shake and repeat so as you can imagine a product that should have taken minutes to spray took me days in the end. Will buy again but. It from this seller

Works really well and covers OK. Doesn't look much like any stone I have ever seen but an interesting finish non the less.You will need to thoroughly mask around what you are spraying by some distance as the flek bits in the paint can fly a long way. I would suggest that you hang up an old sheet as a screen around what you are spraying. I sprayed a white MDF fireplace surround and to get a thorough even finish it needed 3 coats and used 2.5 tins so its not cheap but it does look good.

Absolutely does what is says on the tin. Turned a wooden, gothic, mirror frame into a very convincing stone one, very quickly. It was very easy to use too. However, one minor thing to consider is this is for interior use. If you intend using it for something that is gong to be outside (as I did), you will need to buy the sealant (made by the same company). One major thing to be aware of (and why this review has only 4 stars and not 5) is that this product does not go very far at all. The mirror frame was 85 x66 x 4 cm (and of course, that was just the outside edge with precious little wood inside the main frame. But the effect is really amazing - both colour and texture are very convincing - and I am extremely pleased with the result.

What a disappointment. I bought this to save me buying an expensive stone vase. I have a large glass one and thought I could spray it to put faux flowers in. I followed the instructions exactly and it looks dreadful! The entire can didn’t properly cover the vase which was only 28cm high. It was easy to spray on but It took nearly 24hrs to dry and it’s awful. It doesn’t look realistic and was a big mistake. Should have just bought a new vase! Poor quality. Lesson learned.
