In my teens and twenties I used to have perms but stopped because of the cost and the 'too curly' first few weeks. I have used an ordinary 'low heat' curling brush for years but within an hour the body and curl would be dropping. With this Babyliss tong I can chose the right heat to quickly produce a lovely curl which lasts most of the day. I was concerned that my hair would start to feel dry and damaged with the heat but also started using TRESemme Protect Heat Defence Styling Spray at the same time and can honestly say that my hair has never felt so good. I now have lovely soft gently curly hair with body and bounce!
