There is absolutely no paperwork included or instructions printed on the box. The only thing it says is "plug and play". The first HUB that I plugged into my front USB ports did not seem to work in either port for 2 devices that worked just fine in the ports directly. Amazon is great, though, and they replaced it quickly. I was not ready to give up, as I really need this device and like the fact that each port can be turned on or off as needed. When the 2nd device arrived, my computer was already off, so I plugged it in before I turned the computer on... and voila, all 4 ports work on at least one (I didn't even check the other) of my built in USB ports on the front of my computer. But here is why I am disappointed. The cord that attaches to your computer is very short--only 5 inches. I have an iMac so that will leave it dangling from the back. The second problem is partly my fault and partly the way Amazon posts reviews. I read all the reviews and everyone was thrilled by the 7 ports, which is one of the reasons I bought this. Unfortunately--and here is the part that is my fault--the item I ordered only has 4 ports.
