Good deal for a decent incubator.
This incubator is easy to set up and use. Be careful NOT to throw away the small styrofoam square that comes in the box. This is placed below the stand that holds the water bottle. The incubator is easy to clean and maintains the temperature well. It does NOT come with a temperature or humidity reader so I have placed one inside which takes room m. Humidity is a bit more difficult to regulate. At times I have to leave a corner slightly propped open to keep the humidity down and other times the humidity is fine and then drops low without warning. The incubator makes a quiet hum sound. The automatic egg turner makes keeping the eggs moving a breeze. Overall an excellent price for the product.

Actually Impressed!
I will give it 5 stars for being a great device. Only thing I dont like about to is that it has no vent for air flow. I candle every day I can so im in and out of it at least 5 days a week but I got a little panicky when the chicks hatched and had to Jerry rig 1 side slightly open so they wouldnt have the possibility of suffocating. Other than that I had a 100% hatch rate. It was a set it and forget it once the "Lockdown" started for the eggs. Kept a teeny bit of water at the bottom but cracked the lid just slightly because we live in such insane humidity that it was 75% in the open air and it was nive enough to leave the windows open day and night for a few days. So on official hatch day, I kept a close eye and monitored if things went wrong I could intervene. Great for first timers like me. Only thing I dont like is no humidity reader. I work in food concessions so I have a Lazer thermometer and it read pretty much right the entire time. It fluctuated a .1 or .2 degree difference randomly.

Works well! Almost 100% hatch rate!
We wanted to incubate some eggs to have offspring of our Silkie roo so we purchased this device. Overall it’s been a decent machine. It comes with some neat stuff like a tiny candling flashlight, watering cups (don’t really attach to device in a way that I could figure out), and an “automatic” kind of water filler. The design of the auto water filler could be better but if you’re careful it works well. We placed 9 eggs, candled at around day 5 and realized only 5 were fertilized. Marked the eggs, left them all until the next candling (just in case). Second candling we had 4 eggs with clear viability and 1 egg that looked like maybe not. Left the 5 until hatching day and got 4 sweet healthy chicks. We’re happy with the purchase and will try the machine again in the future. Follow instructions and remove the egg tray when you notice the eggs starting to hatch. It’s an easy removal and makes it way easier for babies.

Good value, low hassle incubator
This was my first time incubating eggs, they were from my backyard flock, with hens that were fairly new layers. I had to get rid of the rooster and decided if I wanted to try incubating some eggs that it was a good time. The incubator has a few quirks but overall worked well for me considering the price. It came preset with the appropriate temperature. It does not have a humidity gauge, just a gravity fed bottle to add water. The water bottle is the part that is finicky. I added water every 1-3 days. It is tricky to know how much to add because it doesn’t flow into the incubator well unless you lift the bottle up a bit more. It also is messy to add water without spilling it because you have to flip the bottle over and it can flow out of the little tray it sits in (I ended up placing a container underneath when I filled it to minimize spillage). I had to pay attention to the water level under the grate in the incubator to add as needed but at one point I almost got the level in the incubator high enough to touch the eggs and come up through the grate. It automatically turns the eggs which is nice, as I did not want to deal with turning them by hand. I believe I removed the turner on day 17 (it’s recommended on day 18) because I saw at least one of my eggs starting to wobble and was afraid it would hatch early. I started with 12 eggs, and candles multiple times throughout incubation. 3 eggs I removed as they weren’t developing at all (I don’t think they were fertilized as they were all from the same hen). One egg I believe had a blood ring and died during development that I also removed. I was left with 8 eggs near the end of incubation, and 6/8 hatched. Even with only 6 chicks, it is a tight fit after they have hatched. So if more had been viable some of them may have needed to be removed before all the eggs hatched. Overall I was very pleased with the hatch rate and results considering my hens were new layers and I purposely chose a fairly cheap incubator with minimal day to day care. *also, it is worth noting that we had two power outages during incubation and I still had chicks successfully hatch.

Complete fail
I don’t give bad reviews but this incubator is awful. Temperature is off by more than the normal complaint of 2 degrees, the water feature doesn’t work even with the styrofoam base and the rotating feature doesn’t even work after the first day I came home to it clicking in place and DOES NOT automatically regulate humidity. If you buy this you will lose your eggs and it will be very disappointing especially if you do this with your kids. I refuse to send it back because someone is going to just ship the same defective product back out to another hopeful customer. Definitely don’t buy this. The price is way too good to be true. Don’t take this shortcut like I did. Just buy a better incubator or chicks.

We had so many babies from this product! It fit 12 chicken eggs. The humidity was easy to watch. You just have to sanitize after each hatch so the next batch stays healthy. It was so fun to see the beautiful babies.

so so
Had to re-home my beloved rooster and wanted to have some of his bloodline so purchased this to hatch some of his offspring. The pros: easy set up upon opening, easy to clean, got a few baby chicks born healthy The cons: there is no way to regulate the humidity level in this nor does it read the humidity levels. I had to purchase an additional product to put in the incubator to keep tabs on the humidity levels. To keep the temp and humidity where it needs to be each week, I had to rig the top part of the incubator to not be connected to the bottom to that the humidity stayed where I needed to be, doing this made it not be able to turn the eggs so it was a pain in the butt. Because of these issues, it was more work than it needed to be. It's not big enough to humanely and safely leave the baby chicks in beyond them drying out so once they were dry (a few hours later) I moved them to a new setup. It came with watering cups and attachments and no where to attach them, and too big to put in the incubator so a bit of useless accessory. Would I use this again? Probably not. In hindsight, Id have spent a little more for one that didnt need so much tweaking and rigging but I did get 4 chicks out of 11 and I was hoping for at least that many so that is a plus.

Gran producto
Espectacular producto. Mis niños disfrutaron mucho del proceso. Lo único malo es la luz de la ok terna que no es muy potente.
