Review: Work Great but... - These worked great for hanging things in my 3 year olds room and they look nice but I will say, if you try to take it out of the wall after pushing it all the way in, the wooden top usually just pulls off, leaving the pin in the wall. I had to use needle nose pliers to remove a couple misplaced pins while hanging things. I will say, this probably wouldn't happen if you're pinning things to a cork board but if you're pinning to a denser surface (like directly into a wall) keep that in mind.

These worked great for hanging things in my 3 year olds room and they look nice but I will say, if you try to take it out of the wall after pushing it all the way in, the wooden top usually just pulls off, leaving the pin in the wall. I had to use needle nose pliers to remove a couple misplaced pins while hanging things. I will say, this probably wouldn't happen if you're pinning things to a cork board but if you're pinning to a denser surface (like directly into a wall) keep that in mind.

Using these for little knobs. My wife is addicted to the "Maxwell House" international coffees. I take the plastic boxes, cover them in contact paper and use them for storing nuts & bolts and the like on a tray I built. I use decorative pin backs to hold them on.
