My five cats bought this book for my boyfriend for his birthday, and he was very entertained with it! So much personality comes through in Crockett's photos, both in the men depicted and the cats. There are no boring images in here. Her innovative use of lighting make the apartments and houses in the backgrounds also part of the personality of each photo. It's almost documentary as much as portrait and yet you feel each photo has a story. Funny, ironic, candid, dramatic, the photos are a perfect example of how pets humanize their owners, too. A fantastic gift for any metalhead in your life or any cat lover.
