I have a Renault Megane and I sometimes use it in my husband's car which is a Vauxhall Astra estate. I think that you will find that most 360 degree carseats are universal. I am a grandparent so only use it once or twice a week at present for my grandson from the age of 6 months (he is now 2 yrs old. The literature states that it is suitable from birth to 12 years of age. One thing that I would point out to you for consideration is that the buckle that the straps clip into is adequate at the moment , but I will be looking into whether this can be extended in length, due to the fact that when sitting the child into the carseat, their bottom covers the buckle up and I have to 'fish' around underneath their legs/bottom to grasp it. I am sure that if the manufacturer states that the seat is suitable for up to 12 yrs of age, that it may just need to be adjusted as the child grows but I haven't quite got to adjusting to the next stage as yet so I am unable to adviseon that aspect. This one is amazing and makes life easy for us. It is super easy to install due to the ISOfix anchors, and it feels very safe. It can be used in multiple positions depending on your child's age: rear-facing position (birth up to approx. 4 years), harness mode in forward-facing position (15 months to approx. 4 years), and booster mode in forward-facing position (approx. 4–12 years). The 360° spinning capability works in all positions, which makes it very easy to get them in and out and saves my back. The car seat has various inserts that can be switched when you have two children of different ages. The cover is soft and well padded. My daughter loves it because she is very comfortable in it, and if she is tired, she easily falls asleep in it. Also, the cover is removable and washable at 30 °C, simplifying maintenance and our lives.
