Clicks in nicely, paint shaker couldn’t make to pistol come out but as soon as button is depressed it comes out fast and slick. I love this line of holsters. Extremely tough to beat for the price. Review: Bought this to try out for a Springfield Prodigy 4.25”. The gun fits very well but would hang up initially on the first several re-holsters. Couldn’t tell what it was snagging on but it quickly smoothed out after only a few draws. The safety works very well and is very secure while being very easy to disable and draw. But the holes are standard T-Serties, so it can swap with any of the mounting options. I have one on a mid-rise on my Class A uniform belt, and another on a QD and Serpa paddle for desk duty. **Q: Will this fit a 2011 double stack 1911 model?** A: Works with Staccato P **Q: Back to the Original Question does this fit a government 1911?** A: Yes, but some frames will be a little loose (for example if there is no rail) compared to others. There is an adjustment/tension screw that snugs it up. I have tried it with a Staccato P, Sig 1911 Tac Ops, and a VERY old Colt 1911. All fit and clicked in, the Colt was the loosest, and the Staccato fit the best. Sig was in the middle. All held secure though and the tension snugged right up. **Q: Has anyone tried a 2011 with this holster?** A: I carry a Staccato in one. It’s not the fastest but it fits well and securely.
